Human Arts runs experience workshops in Bucharest. Its booking platform holds a seat, takes a card advance, issues the fiscal invoice and lets a guest pass a seat on, all in one editorial design system.

The brief

Eleven page mockups and a design system came first, with the contrast of every colour pair written down: ink on paper 15.4:1, muted ink 5.4:1, the accent teal 4.6:1. The brand’s sun red, at 3.5:1, is kept for decoration only.

The system

Seventeen transactional emails are plain functions from data to HTML, and the admin previews them through the same builders production sends with. The admin itself loads only on its own routes, so nobody buying a seat downloads it.

Handover

The studio runs it day to day: a check-in screen built phone-first for the door, a dashboard queue of things to fix, and a written guide for the person who operates it. Built in 33 commits over five days.
